I can’t believe that anyone actually thinks, for a second, that the flotilla had anything to do with aid to Gaza. As was pointed out, after the “humanitarian supplies” were off-loaded, much of it turned out to be expired medicine, and other useless garbage. And, when the “humanitarian aid” was delivered to Gaza by Israel, Hamas blocked it.
I only wish Israel had not been so stupid as to board the ship in international waters. They should have waited until it was out of international waters. And, of course, they should not have allowed themselves to be hoodwinked by Turkey into believing that the ship was actually populated by unarmed, peaceful people. As Turkey’s own Recep Erdogan said “There is no moderate or immoderate Islam. Islam is Islam and that’s it.” And, of course, that means that Islam is a lying, conniving, treacherous, violent, supremacist, dangerous ideology, and no Muslim is to be trusted, especially the head of a Muslim nation. (Of course, it goes without saying that letting Turkey into NATO was incredibly stupid, as is selling advanced armaments to Pakistan, but that is another story.)
